The Rural Evangelism Network
The Rural Evangelism Network (REN) is an informal national network, established in 1982 which brings together representatives from the national Churches and representatives from Mission Agencies working in rural Britain to share experiences and insights and so promote good practice in rural evangelism.
There are around fifty members representing between them many thousands of churches and hundreds of experienced evangelists.
From 1982 to 2020 REN was provided with administrative services free of charge by Rural Mission Solutions. In 2020 a decision was made to incorporate the Network into the Rural Mission Solutions charity for better management and accountability.
Members appoint a representatives who currently meet using Zoom but previously had opportunity to share in webinars and participate in our programme of one-day localised rural mission consultations.
The Network is a partner in the production of Country Way magazine. It also participates in the Rural Churches Group and the Churches Group for Evangelization (both are Coordinating Groups of CTE).
