THE TEAM

Meet the Team - Rural Missions has a small but experienced team to support village churches, including:

  • Bob is passionate about seeing lives changed by Jesus. After his own dramatic conversion at the age of 16 he desires that no one should go through life without knowing the truth and hope that only Jesus can give.

Bob loves to see Christians that are equipped, resourced and released into mission, with a passion and desire to make Jesus known.

Outside of work Bob loves to socialise, play board games and serve his local church and community. Bob is married to the amazing Bec, and they have a beautiful boy called Reuben. They live in Mansfield and are part of the Leadership team at Ashwood Church.

Bob has an MA in Mission and has been serving in ministry for the last 23+ years, having worked in local churches and small charities, as well as working for Spring Harvest, Soul Survivor and New Wine, he has helped direct mission on behalf of Youth for Christ and Scripture Union. His heart, his passion and his life is all about sharing the love of Jesus wherever he can.

  • Bruce is a special advisor for our ministry within the Church of England, and serves as the Team Chaplain.

  • Martin has responsibility for the efficient management of the charity. He is the link with our supporters and responsible for the website.

  • David is an experienced Mission Enabler and is particularly involved in our tailor-made consultancies and has helped to develop our prayer ministry. David is available to work with churches and offer on-going support as they develop their own strategies for mission.

  • With many years experience as a Church Army Officer working in three Anglican dioceses in England, Gordon has a deep understanding of rural church and community life. Gordon is our chairman and has a passion for evangelism as part of a balanced commitment to mission.

  • co-founded Rural Mission Solutions (originally known as Rural Sunrise Ministries) and played a key part in establishing the national Rural Evangelism Network, which brings together representatives form national Churches and senior executives from Mission Agencies.
