What We Do

Our primary aim is to help rural churches in the UK to discover God's unique plan for their church.  Rural communities vary enormously.  There is no single cultural context.  We believe that the local church is best placed to be God's instrument in his mission.

Historically, evangelism seems to have been the remit of specialist organisations.  Today, were the resources of all the specialist rural mission organisations combined, they could only reach no more than 2% of the people in rural UK.  But each of the 10 million people living in rural areas are within easy reach of at least one of 8,000 rural churches.  We offer advice and support to enable rural churches ro engage in enjoyable, sustainable and appropriate actiivities.

Key Activities

Tailored Mission Solutions

It's a free process not a programme, and the outcome is a strategy that fits and suits each church. The process can be delivered through online modules or Awaydays.

Webinars and online training

Accessible and relevant information together with training webinars are held periodically. Video recordings of these and other topics are available on our YouTube Channel.

Church Leaders' Events

It's all too easy to feel isololated and over-stretched if you are involved in rural ministry.  Getting together with others often proves to be a source of inspiration and encouragement.

Networks National and local

The national Rural Evangelism Network brings together key people from national Churches and mission agencies.

Local networks offer support and encouragement.
