Barry Osborne

Barry Osborne - Rural Mission Adviser

Arguably one of the most experienced people in rural mission and evangelism, Barry serves as the senior staff member.  He brings many years of experience working with many churches of various denominations in short-term mission outreach programmes.  He also researches, writes and teaches rural mission.

He is an ordained minister within the Congregational Federation (one of the oldest non-conformist denominations) but he has served Anglican Dioceses and Parish Churches and other Free Churches very acceptably.  Within his own denomination he serves as Chair of their Inter-Church Board, as a member of the Pastoral Care Board, and is a former President.

Barry's passion is to encourage churches to develop bespoke programmes of mission within the communities where they are located.  He is also a keen networker.  If he does not know the solution to a problem, he will almost certainly know who or what that is.
